Welcome to Lyon! Are you here for the weekend? Not sure where to start? Looking for ideas on how to spend a weekend in Lyon? Then this article is for you!
First of all, you must know that to travel to Lyon from another French or European city, you have several options. The first one: go by bus 🚌 or by train 🚆. Spiky recommends using Trainline, which will help you access more afordable prices than the SNCF ! Second option : carpooling, for which you can use Blablacar.
Hotels 🏨 in major French cities are becoming increasingly expensive. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, we recommend Alter'Hostel. It's well located, 15-minutes away from the Pentes de la Croix-Rousse, and a night costs around 50€ per person. If you have a bigger budget, we suggest Mama Shelter. A night there will cost you around 100€.
